Also known as: Orlando Convention Center
One of the nation's ten largest convention centers. The Orange County Convention Center (known as the Orlando Convention Center) has 2.1 million square feet of exhibition space that can house an event of any size. This beautiful facility in the heart of Orlando was originally built in 1983. A second, additional building was constructed across the street in 2003, however the two convention halls are now connected via a pedestrian sky bridge. In addition to the large exhibition space, the Orange County Convention Center includes a 2,643-seat theater, multi-purpose rooms, 74 meeting rooms, and 8 food courts.
Located 11 miles southwest of downtown Orlando in the middle of Orange County's tourism core, the Orange County Convention Center is within walking distance to more than 6,000 Convention Center hotel rooms, and within 45 minutes driving distance to more than 86,000 hotel rooms in the Orlando area.
